Little Witley Call Box
Further to the posting a few months ago, I communicated the comments received to the District Council and as a result BT has put the closure on hold pending further examination.
I have recently had approaches from more local residents who would like to see the call box remain, particularly as it is a local landmark. I would be interested in the opinions of as many people as possible to ascertain the level of support for this view, particularly since some of the potential options for keeping it might involve some cost to the village. The closure proposal has been brought about as the annual usage is about 2 calls per week.
