Broadband
BT has apparently successfully completed its trials to extend the 6km distance limit from exchanges for broadband services. It expects to be able to make the service available to 99.4% of all households within 12 months. This will allow many people in rural areas previously denied access to use the service, which is becoming more important due to some internet services only being available on broadband.
