Rural Broadband

BT is continuing to extend broadband to most exchanges in the District and with the emergence of internet uses which require broadband this is particularly important.
However there will be areas which are currently too far from the exchanges to receive the service and therefore some rural areas will be at a distinct disadvantage.There are possible answers to this which need further development. This point will be taken up further so that various authorities do not rest on their laurels having achieved the general exchange roll out.
