New Adminstration at Malvern
Following the local elections there has been a change of control with the Conservatives winning a large number of wards across the District, with the Group now holding 31 of the 38 seats. This clearly creates a clear responsibility to bring about the necessary change.
I am pleased to say that I shall be part of that work as portfolio holder for customer focus. This involves far more than the title suggests as it involves the work on shared services, where the Council is working on combining certain services with other councils in South Worcestershire. This will provide financial savings at the same time as improving service levels.

Paul - 'portfolio holder for customer focus' means nothing to me. What does a 'portfolio holder' do? And what (in this context) is 'customer focus'?
