Planning Enforcement

There seems to be a pattern of increasing references to the District Council planning enforcement section. Some of these are acted upon and others found not to be contrary to planning regulations. The difficulty remains however that response times to queries need improvement in my opinion and will be affected by the Council's decision to remove a post in this section. This is just a year after a post was added to the budget to improve the service.
Whilst I know of a number of continuing cases, if anyone has contacted the Council and not received a timely response, I should be grateful to hear about this, both to get some action, and assess the overall position as it affects our local villages in particular.
