Post Office News

The results of the review of the local Post Office network were announced today. In spite of some local concern the Post Offices at Abberley and Great Witley will remain open, although the service at Clifton is to become "Outreach" (which basically means a severely curtailed provision).

I had already offered to work with the Parish Councils in Woodbury to fight any planned closures and it is encouraging that the importance of the local Offices to the local community has been recognised by this decision.

We all now have an important role to play in ensuring their long term future - to use them or risk losing them.
